I understand what you mean and I think that almost all cable companies make the same kind of error in sometimes different ways: they try to solve the problems with brute force, meaning lots of conductor mass. This is a terrible solution as it creates more problems. You will notice that I don’t make huge cables, and this is why.

I make very carefully designed and executed cables that carefully manage conductor mass so that I can more carefully control more delicate things like skin effect, proximity effect, other things related to self-inductance or inductive coupling effects, etc., as well as maintaining control over capacitance, inductance, velocity, etc.


This sets Black Cat Cable apart from all the brands I’m aware of (but there must be hundreds of brands I’m not aware of ... everyone thinks they want to be a cable maker, lol).
