Thats your opinion,and I will not try to convince you,because our views and tastes are completely different.In that price range Arcam is on of the best buy solutions,if we except old CD players with CDM transport or dac TDA1541 like Philips 304 MK2,Philips 880,Marantz CD10,17 or excelent players with dac PCM63 like good old Accupshase,Copland etc.But in the era of the new products,in my opinion,Arcam is the best buy in this range 500-660$.Tastes are various,some people love Marantz,some love NAD or something else.I had listened model CD73T and I compare with Marantz CD 7300,CD 7000 KI,NAD C541,Cambridge Audio 640C and I am mostly satisfied with this player.Marantz CD 7300 has excellent bass,but it was slower with dynamic by Arcam CD 73T.Some people love warm sound,some dynamic, I prefere good timing and dymanic and wide open scenes with details.But I asked about CD82T because i didnt listen that model.
