Вообще-то на микрофоне снизу специально делается резьба совпадающая с резьбой фотоаппаратов. Именно для того, чтобы обычный пользователь мог правильно с ним работать. Подразумевается, что фотоштатив не такая уж дорогая вещь.

Об этом же говорится в "Official" Audyssey thread, в котором Chris Kiriakakis (основной идеолог Одиссея активно участвовал в теме с самого начала. Теперь уже перестал, гад...)
